I'm Whitney Raver, entrepreneur, success coach, and master slayer-of-doubt, and I'm really glad you're here. I'm glad because I want you to know something...
No matter who you are, where you're from, what you've done,
I know you can make your wildest dreams and deepest desires your new reality.
How do I know? Because that's exactly what I did.

I Was
Homeless

Thre are few things more humbling than sleeping at a rest stop with an empty belly. But after my dad was diagnosed with chronic illness and unable to work, that's exactly what my family did.

My parents, brother, two sisters, and I travelled the American South West, trying to stay in places where the weather was always warm and odd jobs were always available to anyone with the will to work.

A Single
Parent

With Dad in and out of hospitals and my mother gone for good, it fell to me to make sure my four younger siblings got the comfort and stability they needed and deserved. I was dedicated to helping them thrive.

During those years I worked odd jobs for cash, brining home enough money to keep a steady apartment and food on the table. And when all the kids were tucked in bed and everything was quiet, I'd wish for so much more.

A High School
Dropout

Shortly after Dad was diagnosed, my mother gave birth to her fifth child, my sister. Not long after, Mother lost her battle with mental illness and left the family. At thirteen years old, I was faced with an impossible decision: leave my family and enter the foster care system, or abandon my dreams to keep my brother and sisters safe.

Choosing the latter, I dropped out of school in ninth grade.

But
Then...

Six long, loyal years after quitting on my dreams, I realized that poor decisions got me into that mess, and good ones could get me out of it. If my parents had the power to author tragedy, I knew I had the power to create a story of triumph. For years I had taken responsibility for the lives of those who needed me. When I decided to take responsibility for my own life and my own circumstances, that's when I took control of my future and lunged heart first into the sea of infinite possibilities.

First I Went After My Old Dreams...

At twenty years old, with nothing but the desire for more and unshakable faith in the idea that if bad things could happen to me, then great things could happen for me, I took the first step in becoming the author of my own legend.

First, I went after my life-long dreams...
  • I earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University - go Hoosiers!
  • I studied the martial arts and even competed in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
  • I followed my love of writing to become an editor for a major self-publisher.
  • I broke the cycle of poerty and mental illness that has plagued my family for generations.

Then I Went Further Than I Ever Imagined...

When I took control of my life, that when you live with purpose as the author of your own story, you have nothing to do with your time but create. I started looking around for new challenges and new opportunities test my limits.

I began to dream of new things...
  • I fell in love and married my best friend.
  • I became a mother to my three vibrant and hillarious children.
  • I started a business and worked hard to position my agency at the top.
  • I bought the house of my dreams, a beautiful cabin on five acres of protected forest.
  • I even kicked off my fear of public speaking and accepted the call to run for United States Congress.

I went from homeless to running for U.S. House of Representatives.
